Data is a sought after skill..
Anyone in a digital role, will likely encounter and use data. Whether youβre handling customer info, using a spreadsheet or doing a survey. Chances are data is involved. Almost any digital role requires some data-know-how, but companies need employees to beyond this!
Those who can translate data, into nuggets of insight - will stand out from the crowd as candidates. This is why human skills like communication, critical thinking and analysis - are as crucial, as technical ability.

Course Creator Spotlight
Meet Karen Scott, she's co-designed our latest Data Accelerator Programme in Dundee. Today, we caught up with Karen about all things DATA. ππ
"Data is key to decision making. Using data correctly, in the correct context and using the most appropriate techniques will allow decisions to be based on the highest possible quality insights. Programming skills are especially useful as these bring a flexibility to data processing beyond most other tools. A good programmer will understand the other tools better and be able to make good use of them. Python is an especially useful language to know."
